Nowadays is the top time in history to be a movie enthusiast. It used to be that the only means you could see a impressive film was to visit the movie theater. Later video stores came on the scene but you had to go over there and many times the movies were out of stock. You also needed to fret about getting the show back to the store in a timely manner or you had to pay a late fee. Even now when you can get films in the mail, you still have to wait.

Basic - While things go askew throughout an armed forces work out, base captain Daly brings in Travolta, the best interrogator he ever had, to question the surviving members of the squad, whose stories don't add up. Actually a whodunit, this movie keeps us guessing, as a good conspiracy should. Cast includes John Travolta, Connie Nielsen, Samuel L. Jackson, Giovanni Ribisi, Tim Daly, Roselyn Sanchez, and Harry Connick. (2003 minutes,'95)

Like Water for Chocolate - Striking and sensuous film from a novel by Laura Esquivel set in the early part of the 20th century - a youthful girl's life is conditioned by her solemn and steadfast mom, who treats her terribly. Spectacular storyline, not without humor, with an excellent cast and a top of the line performance from lead actress Cavazos. Cast includes Lumi Cavazos, Marco Leonardi, Regina Tome, Mario Ivan Martinez, and Ada Carrasco. (113 minutes,'92)

Mysterious Lady - An Austrian armed forces officer (Nagel) falls in love with Garbo, naive that she's a Russian agent. Another contrived plot made serviceable by Garbo herself. Cast includes Greta Garbo, Conrad Nagel, Gustav von Seyffertitz, Albert Pollet, and Edward Connelly. (96 minutes,'28)

The In Laws - Everyone can relate to this awkward situation. The in laws are coming and you just have to survive. Do not try this at home! Unrated version runs 93. Cast includes Peter Falk, Alan Arkin, Richard Libertini, and Nancy Dussault. (103 minutes,'64)

Believe in Me - Donovan moves to a small Oklahoma town in'64 to accept a teaching job, although when he arrives he finds out he has been assigned to coach the girls basketball team. What is more, the girls have no self respect and little assistance from the school. Authentic heartland story ascends above its familiar underdog recipe. Donovan and Mathis as his loyal spouse are first rate. Cast includes Jeffrey Donovan, Samantha Mathis, Bruce Dem, Bob Gunton, Heather Matarazzo, Alicia Lagano, and Chris Ellis. (108 minutes, 2007)

Inferno - American returns to N.Y. from school in Rome to research the hideous death of his sibling, and finds "sinister moms" causing paranormal confusion on both sides of Atlantic. Surreal, spellbinding shocker by Italian terror maestro Argento doesn't make much sense, but it has a lot of style. Cast includes Leigh McCloskey, Irene Marvel, Sacha Pitoeff, Daria Nicolodi, Eleonora Giorgi, Veronica Lazar, and Alida Valli. (107 minutes,'84)

Downloading anything to your computer could put your processor at danger for viruses and adware. Be careful and make sure that you only download from dependable sites. Viruses can be hurtful and end up costing you a ton of cash and you could also lose all of your priceless data. Adware and malware should also be a fear. - 29968
