Addicted to Love - This movie is a depressing comedy where we see an ex-boyfriend, and an ex-girlfriend spying on their past partners. They find themselves teamed together, with the young lady planning acts of vengeance for her previous partner. Meg Ryan, Matthew Broderick, Kelly Preston, and Tcheky Karyo star. (1997 dark comedy directed by Griffin Dunne)

Faces - Highly personal drama in regards to many infidelities is one of the few Cassel motion pictures to become a big hit. Here's a powerful film with awesome action, particularly by Carlin and Cassel. Cast includes John Marley, Gena Rowlands, Lynn Carlin, Seymour Cassel, Fred Draper, and Val Avery.

Gordon's War - When a Vietnam vet comes home to find his spouse strung out on medications, he trains a gentleman army to beat the pushers. Outstanding action, though gets lost toward the end. Cast includes Paul Winfield, Carl Lee, David Downing, and Tony Baron.

Shooter - Retired Marine Corp Sniper Bob Lee Swagger is asked to come to Washington, to help track another sniper that will seek to execute the President. What happens to him next is a complete shock. The same US government people that he is helping are actually setting him up to take the fall for the murder. He somehow escapes when he is shot, and is now on the run. He is also prepared to fight back.

Danny Boy - Ambitious although arrogant, unrelentingly boring melodrama of sax player Rea, who trades his sax for a gun after observing a triple killing. This was Jordan's directorial introduction, which he in addition did the screenplay. He and leading guy Rea later reteamed for The Weeping Game.

Lunatics and Lovers - Aristocrat Mastroianni has a imaginary spouse; an organ grinder persuades hooker Mori to "impersonate" her. While it is not unintelligent, it's monotonous. Cast includes Marcello Mastroianni, Claudia Mori, Lino Morelli, Flora Carabella, and Adriano Celentano.

The Sentinel - From 1977- Effortless yet dull shocker in reference to N. Y.C. fashion model, who leases a home in Brooklyn, finds it's full of demons and she is the next protector for the entry to Hell. Cast includes Cristina Raines, Ava Gardner, Chris Sarandon, Burgess Meredith, Sylvia Miles, Jose Ferrer, Arthur Kennedy, John Carradine, Christopher Walken, Eli Wallach, Jerry Orbach, Jeff Goldblum, Beverly D' Angelo, Martin Balsam, William Hickey, and Tom Berenger. (93 minutes, 1977)

Die Hard - In position to commit the perfect crime, terrorists have commandeered a Los Angeles high rise, and are holding everyone captive. There is $460 million in the corporate safe that the terrorists want. Everything is going according to plan. Uninvited, so the terrorists don't know he is there New York cop John McClane is the lone hope to obstruct the terrorists.

Life on a Strand - Musical, stunningly filmed narrative of a blind boy who is informed by his teacher that his eyesight can be fixed if he commits his life to music; he gets to be a saintly old gentleman still without ability to see who travels from village to village with his young student harmonizing melodies, which he finds emotionally nurturing. Thoughtful film stuffed with poetic energy, and a soundtrack of remarkable melodies. Cast includes Liu Zhong Yuan, Huang Lei, Xu Qing, Ma Ling, and Zhang Zhengguan.

Liar Liar - Fletcher Reede is a hard working lawyer who is incessantly disappointing his wonderful young son. Eventually, before blowing out the candles at his birthday, Max makes his wish. He wishes his father to not be able to lie for one full day. The outcomes are certainly amusing. - 29968
