The Day Time Ended: Sci-fi mumbo jumbo in regards to a family living in the desert, who witness odd and horrifying phenomena. Cast includes Jim Davis, Dorothy Malone, Christopher Mitchum, Marcy Lafferty, Scott Kolden, and Natasha Ryan. (79 minutes, 1980)

The Gazebo: An unconventional comedy about death and a porch gazebo. The part players McGiver and Merande make this film work, however the megastars perform admirably as well. The House of Yes: On a stormy day in 1983, a youthful gentleman brings his fiance home to meet his broken Washington, D.C, family, containing his demented twin sis, Jackie-O, whose fantasies in Jacqueline Kennedy have lengthened to the point of reenacting the JFK assassination-with live bullets. A well made black comedy, based on the stage production by Wendy MacLeod. Cast includes Parker Posey, Josh Harnilton, Tori Spelling, Freddie Prinze, Jr., Genevieve Bujold, and Rachael Leigh Cook. (90 minutes, 1997)

Gorgo: This film is an excellent sci-fi tale of a captured ocean beast put on display in London, and the massive parent, who is coming to the rescue. The film has excellent visual effects. Cast includes Bill Travers, William Sylvester, Vincent Fall, Bruce Seton, and Joseph O?Connor. (78 minutes, 1961)

The Guyver: All-American Armstrong, contaminated by an extraterrestrial device, finds that he is an armored superhero, an excellent thing, except that virtually everyone else in the film might turn into a frightening beast, like CIA representative Hamill, who turns into a large cockroach. Awkward clumps of humor only make the contrived plot appear even more mindless. (92 minutes, 1992)

Big Shots: So-so adolescent venture in reference to an ignorant white boy and streetwise city black that come together and find themselves hired as hit men. Cast includes Ricky Busker, Darius McCrary, Robert Delight, Robert Prosky, Jerzy Skolimowski, and Paul Winfield. (90 minutes, 1987)

The Black Orchid: A concocted soap style film of bumbling businessman (Quinn) courting mafia widow (Loren) and the complication of persuading their youngsters that matrimony can make all their lives better. Cast includes Sophia Loren, Anthony Quinn, Ina Balin, Jimmie Baird, (Peter) Mark Richman, Naotni Stevens, and Frank Puglia. (1959 minutes, 96)

Following: A fascinating ultra low spending limit precursor to Nolan's ?Souvenir?, another nonlinear tale in regards to a youthful aimless guy who plans to follow individuals, just for the hell of it until one of his "subjects" turns the tables and tempts him into his own world, where he pillages vacant apartments and invades his victim?s lives. Cast includes Jeremy Theobald, Alex Haw, Lucy Russell, and John Nolan. (71 minutes, 1999)

Slaughter in San Francisco: Prior cop Wong desires retribution on killer of his companion. Norris, in an aiding role, is the poor guy. Cast includes Don Wong, Ditch Norris, Sylvia Channing, Robert Jones, and Dan Ivan. (87 minutes, 1981)
